Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)
In an effort to comply with the guidelines set out by the chief medical officer to limit the spread of COVID-19, Border Veterinary Clinic has set out the following guidelines for how we can conduct business:
If you are ill with influenza-like symptoms such as fever, extreme tiredness, cough and difficulty breathing, please do not enter the building.
If you are over 60 years of age and/or have pre-existing medical conditions, we would remind you of your increased risk of contracting and dying from this disease.
If we can address your veterinary needs via conversation, we request that you contact our office over the phone.
For product purchase, including prescriptions, we encourage you to call us first so our staff can have it ready prior to your arrival.
If you do enter the building, we would ask that you:
limit the number of people entering to the minimum
practice multiple hand washes
avoid touching your face
cover your cough and sneezes and then wash your hands.
keep a safe distance of 3 feet between individuals.
Should you be uncomfortable with entering our building, our staff is available to:
deliver veterinary products to your vehicle
pick up your small animal patient from your vehicle.
Please call our phone line (780-753-6183) to make arrangements and again on arrival.
As staff members we are committed to maintaining quality veterinary services, while following the practices below:
Cleaning regularly, especially high traffic areas.
